Why the World Tomorrow program had to be revived?

It’s our first commission responsibility!

First and foremost, we know that God’s house cannot be built as it should unless we are “preaching Christ’s gospel message to this world as a witness about the soon-coming Kingdom of God” (Mt. 24:14; Mark 1:14-15; Rev. 10:11).

Think about it: Why would God the Father draw anyone to His Church if they didn’t at least have a rough idea of what they were getting themselves into and what was actually expected of them in order to become a part of the God Family? (Mt. 22:8-14; John 6:44; Rom. 8:29). Yes, we know that professing Christianity doesn’t think this way at all (Mt. 24:5). Nor has God’s own Church been speaking or doing this same thing for the last 40+ years (I Cor. 1:10). But Herbert Armstrong knew what had to be done and proved it through action. He did exactly what his Boss required of him and built God’s house successfully throughout his ministry (Mt. 16:18; 17:10-11; 24:14).

That, in fact, was why he was so successful. His World Tomorrow program was all about proclaiming the good news of God’s soon-coming Kingdom (Rev. 11:15).

Secondly, because Mr. Armstrong was God’s end-time Zerubbabel (Zech. 4:9),

that makes Haggai 2:23 a clear indicator to us that he is also now God’s end-time Signet stamp of approval on anything that must get done going forward as far as reuniting God’s people and reviving His Work!

By the way, our new and free book, Zechariah and The Signet, explains all of this in great detail.

Thirdly, there is also an important Bible verse that spells out our first commission responsibility in very plain language. That verse is Revelation 10:11. As we see it, verse 11 points back to the Matthew 24:14 Work that Mr. Armstrong did via his World Tomorrow program. In other words, we see verse 11 as God’s 21st century way of telling us to revive Mr. Armstrong’s Work “Signet style” (Hag. 2:23). If you read the verse yourself, it becomes clear that we have to “prophesy AGAIN before many peoples, nations, tongues and kings.”

We invite you to see that in action by watching our World Tomorrow II program. You can do so on this site. It is also available on various Internet platforms like YouTube.

What does our WT2 emblem represent?

Just as Mr. Armstrong demonstrated during the 6th Church era, we know that our main job is to “build God’s house” (Zech. 4:9; Mt. 16:18). So how is that done? Well, you could ask a thousand different ministers what that means and also inquire as to how they would do it. But if you did, you would likely get a thousand different answers … but ALL would likely trend in the same general direction because they ALL preach that gospel message Christ warned about in Matthew 24:5 — a message about the Messenger (Gal. 1:6-9).

Not so with us. We know exactly what Matthew 16:18 means and we know exactly what has to be done in order to finish God’s house before Christ returns. And it’s really quite simple. We have to do exactly what Christ commanded His Church and follow the example he set during His earthly ministry. In other words, we will finish God’s house by preaching His “kingdom message to this world as a witness” (Mt. 4:23; 9:35; 16:18; 24:14). That message is God’s calling card and we know it has to get back out there in a big way. Hence, the two arrows encircling the earth in our emblem. Those arrows indicate the scope of God’s Work.

As far as the scroll, that feature in our emblem points back to Zechariah 5:1-4. But you are going to have to dig into our free book Zechariah and The Signet in order to fully understand that connection. If you haven’t done so already, order it today!
